Indonesia Important Information

 
PROHIBITED and RESTRICTED GOODS
Firearms, ammunition and explosives, obscene literature, photographs and films, politically “undesirable” literature, alcohol, foodstuff, air guns/toy guns, motor vehicles, books of a political or religious nature which may be offensive to Indonesia, Indonesians or Islam may be refused to entry.

CUSTOMS REGULATIONS
A physical examination of cargo by Indonesian Customs is required, Should prohibited items (refer above) be found, new items be found or the shipper’s documentation incomplete/inadequate, additional charges will be applied. These kind of charges will be invoiced to either shipper direct or agent, and collected at cost prior delivery.

ARRIVAL LIMITS
Used HHG & PE must be arrived in Indonesia within 3 months of the residence card (KITAS) issue date

VEHICLES
Car and or Motorcycle imports are prohibited with exception of those for shipper with Full Diplomatic Status

PETS
Pets are subject to customs duties and taxes and import license is required

HHG & PE DUTY FREE IMPORTS
Shipper allowed for one shipment by Air or Sea. However, if there is an Air Shipment and Sea Shipment, we can clear both as duty free as well, providing the air shipment arrived and cleared first.

Foreign Citizen
- Original Passport
- Original KITAS (Temporary Staying Permit) Valid for minimum 12 months
- Original IMTA (Working Permit) Valid for minimum 12 months
- Original Packing List
- Original Copy BL or Surrendered or Waybill (please mention 5 items description of goods on body BL based on packing list)
- Authorization letter from Consignee to PT.Elang Mas Indocipta as the clearance agent
- List of property and Value of Insurance

Returning Indonesian Citizen:
- Original Passport
- Original Packing List (with Indonesian embassy stamp in host country)
- Reference letter from Indonesian embassy in host country (Stating that client has lived abroad for at least 12 months)
- Reference letter from your company on Company’s letter head (stating that client has end up the employment and return to Indonesia)
- Original Copy BL or Surrendered or Waybill (please mention 5 items description of goods on body BL based on packing list)
- Authorization letter from Consignee to PT.Elang Mas Indocipta as the clearance agent
- List of property and Value of Insurance

NGO (UN, UNICEF, WHO, etc) or Diplomat
- Copy Passport
- Original Packing List
- Original Copy BL or Surrendered or Waybill (please mention 5 items description of goods on body BL based on packing list)
- Form PP 8 (Diplomat)
- Form PP 19 (NGO)
- Authorization letter from Consignee to PT.Elang Mas Indocipta as the clearance agent
- List of property and Value of Insurance

- Repack electronics items to avoid customs assuming goods are new
